Looking up how to stop betting is sensitive. We built this site so that visiting it doesn’t follow you around.

What we never do

• No advertising or remarketing pixels (no Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, or similar).
• No selling or sharing your information — ever.
• No cookies used to track you.

Analytics

We count page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless: it doesn’t set cookies, doesn’t use your IP address to identify you, and doesn’t follow you across sites. The self-check and Get help now pages load no analytics at all.

The self-check

Your answers are scored in your browser. They are never sent to us or anyone else, never stored, and gone when you close the tab.

Email

If you sign up for the Shutdown Plan, we store your first name and email address with our email provider (Kit) so we can send it. Every email has an unsubscribe link. To have your address deleted, email hello@howtostopbetting.com.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard request data (such as IP address) to deliver and protect the site.
