Self-exclusion by state

Put yourself on your state’s list

Most states with legal sports betting run a self-exclusion list. Once you’re on it, every licensed sportsbook in that state has to refuse your bets and stop marketing to you. Each program works differently — these guides tell you exactly how yours works, checked against the official source.

Three things that are true almost everywhere

  1. Withdraw your balance first. After you enroll, getting money out can be slow or complicated.
  2. Exclude inside each app today. State lists take anywhere from a day to six weeks to reach operators. App exclusions are usually immediate.
  3. State lists have gaps. Pick’em apps, prediction markets like Kalshi and Polymarket, offshore sites and sweepstakes casinos are usually not covered.
