How to self-exclude from BetMGM
A BetMGM time-out or self-exclusion carries over to every state where BetMGM operates, across sports, casino and poker.
Where to find it
My Account > Settings > Responsible Gaming, then choose the category (Time-Out, Self-Exclusion, etc.) - BetMGM Account FAQs. Also 'self exclude yourself from all online gaming' link on betmgm.com/en/p/self-exclusion, or via customer service.
Before you do it: withdraw your balance and let open bets or positions settle. Once you’re excluded you may not be able to move money.
Your options
Timeout / cool-off (short break — ends on its own)
- Time-out from 3 days (72 hours) up to 1 year (BetMGM corporate RG page; BetMGM Poker RG blog). During a time-out you cannot play for real money or deposit.
Self-exclusion (the real block)
- 1 year, 5 years, or lifetime per BetMGM Poker RG blog (undated; it may be describing state programs) - in-app options · unconfirmed
- Service closure (account closure for non-gambling-harm reasons) via Customer Service, applied per product
